   This is a great place for a drink and a meal. Lovely waiting staff and a chef who went out of his way to accommodate any requests regarding allergies. We've had two great celebrations here. However this time we decided to go as there was an offer on for children to eat for £1. The terms and conditions offered on the email were clear and matched what we saw on the socials. However, when we received the bill, this had not been applied and we were told that it was an a-la-carte order only and not a set lunch. This was not stated anywhere within their marketing communications so we felt a bit cheated. It's disappointing as it was a lovely experience. I would say generally be clear with the T&Cs for offers you may see in the future but in this case there weren't any! I would call ahead and then decide next time. A shame.

   Incredibly friendly staff, very welcoming. Excellent choice on the kids menu for our 10 year old - first time he has ever polished off 3 courses in his life! The roasts were epic and delicious. A completely enjoyable family lunch from start to finish.

   Excellent from start to finish. Food was superb wonderful choice and brilliantly presented, perfectly cooked and so flavoursome. Range and variety of drinks were excellent with some very good wine. Cannot fault it, the mother and father in law loved the whole evening. Such a great team and a great establishment. Thoroughly recommend.

   Overall food very good, superb roast beef and pork and service fairly unobtrusive however, given the higher than some establishments prices for Sunday roasts and alleged high reputation a few things could be improved upon. Our critisims are few but nonetheless valid. It would have been nice to have all vegetables offered in a dish separately not just the cauliflower, and to be hotter (the carrot and cabbage was on the cool side), and to be offered more than one carrot and maybe one other vegetable such as peas or green beans. And better cutlery more appropriate for this lovely restaurant much needed. Despite the lovely pink roast beef being cooked a treat, the poor quality knives with absolutely no serration or cutting power struggled to cut it properly. All of these changes would make it go from really good to absolutely fantastic.

   A very warm welcome awaited us and we had impeccable service throughout our Sunday lunch. Food excellent and wine choices very reasonable. We will return.

   Very impressed overall, food quality was very good with plenty of choice. Parking was easy. Entry into the restaurant itself can be confusing without clear signage (unless we missed it). One of our party is on a Keto diet for medical reasons, which can be a challenge in most places but our waiter was very knowledgeable and the chef very accommodating. Only downside was an extremely loud person sat at the next table for the duration of our meal. Beyond the control of the restaurant of course. Fully recommended overall.

   Fantastic food. Easily the best Sunday lunch around. The chef Sam is amazing, the front of house staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful as always. Will only eat Sunday lunch here . A must go

    We stayed in Wolverton Room which was lovely and also booked a meal and food was excellent. Staff very attentive and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back and stay I a different room.
