Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.

The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!

Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

    It was packed. That's a good sign. Everyone was having a good time. Fantastic, fresh food. Great menu. Good service. That's why we keep going back.

    Zero service. Got a drink at the bar. Barman then ignored the fact we were still sat there. Eventually we took ourselves to restaurant 30mins late. Then had to ask to be served after being sat waiting for 25mins. Not even an acknowledgment from anybody. Nobody asked if we were ok or needed anything. Had to flag someone down to order another drink. Then again to pay our bill. Food was very good though. Shame the service let it down

    Lovely restaurant, great ambiance, amazing food. Starters are little expensive, but everything else well worth the money. Only thing I’d say is service is very quick between courses. As soon as starter is cleared main course is there. It just made what was a romantic evening go a bit fast

    Excellent food and outstanding service as always, a real pleasure to find a restaurant that always delivers, this restaurant is really made by the outstanding staff and there very caring nature, keep up the great work, see you again in 2 weeks many thanks

    Incredible Sunday dinner! Service was on point as usual and made to feel so welcome. Portion sizes are amazing and allow you to take leftovers home.
