We really liked the vibe of the place but the food was just okay. We ended up sending the sides back because they were SO salty. The entrees were good. Service was very friendly and the decor and atmosphere was great. We may give it another try.

Our first time dining here last night and don’t see ourselves rushing back. The food was very good, no complaints there. We sat upstairs and felt the atmosphere was very underwhelming - almost sterile. Tables were so far spread apart it was strange. Our waiter (cannot remember his name because I’m not sure he ever told us) was so unfriendly and not overly attentive. Could not have cared less to engage in any form of conversation with us and it was almost as if we were bothering him. The hostess downstairs was very friendly and the vibe downstairs seemed nicer than upstairs. I wish I knew the difference when making the reservation because I would have opted to be downstairs. Way more inviting and friendly.

Our waiter was fantastic! Restaurant is beautiful (the wait staff attire does not match the ambiance of the restaurant at all, which is not a complaint, just an observation). The menu is very small. The flavor of the food was great. I had the Amatriciana, which was delicious. Others in our party had chicken, steak, and cod. All tasted good, tho the chicken was a bit too salty, apparently. The problem we had with the place was the tiny portions. The plates were barely more than a tasting menu would have. The men in our party were all still hungry when we left, which is annoying when you're spending $30-$40 a plate. This was really our only issue with the place, but I would not go back because of it.

We had a delightful time at The Lively’s High Tea event for the first time. The menu offered a variety of gluten-free options, and the food was beautifully presented and even more delicious. The ambiance was fantastic, with soft jazzy instrumentals that didn’t overpower the conversations of other patrons or ourselves. Overall, our first experience was great, and we’ll definitely be returning for a full meal experience.

Grace was amazing. Such a wonderful server. We had drinks after and the bartenders were so fun. Wonderful night. Food was excellent.

Outstanding evening. Dakota was a terrific server! Loved our seating with a view of the Kitchen, fun to watch the crew make a hard job look easy. All our food was delish. Venue is absolutely beautiful.

My wife and I eat here every year for our holiday treat to ourselves. The food is consistently delicious and the service outstanding. I worked in the industry for almost 20 years and seldom write reviews but when I do it’s because they were well earned. Ryland took care of us last night and was outstanding!! His suggestions and table side manor took us from a meal to an experience and he became a part of that without taking away from the food or the space. Hats off to the whole crew of this well oiled machine, can’t wait to see you guys again soon!!

Very enjoyable dining experience celebrating our anniversary with another couple. Quality of food and service outstanding. Only complaint the ambient noise level which made conversation difficult. Looking forward to returning to The Lively.
