Whether you’re popping in for brunch, meeting friends for lunch or wining and dining someone special, the Littleton Arms is the perfect blend of contemporary chic and old English charm.
Our locally sourced food, innovative seasonal menus and friendly and attentive service have earned us our reputation as one of the best independent pubs in Staffordshire.
We are renowned for our selection of contemporary and traditional ales and craft beers, our hand-picked wines, and extensive selection of gin and cocktails.
If that seems too much to get through in a day then we recommend booking one of our cosy hotel rooms, which have been sympathetically refurbished to evoke the original Georgian coaching inn while providing all the comforts of a modern hotel.

Waited over an hour for food , had to ask three times to order, one of the kids meals was missing when it came it was wrong, none of the staff had a clue what was going on, the bar staff were just plain rude, the worst service I’ve ever received , I was so shocked at their incompetence! The food was quite nice when it eventually came, the table next to us ordered ate and left then more people seated, ordered and ate before we had even got halfway through our meals. They said they were sorry about the incorrect food and said they will remove it from the bill - they didn’t.

Very busy in Littleton today! Staff bit rushed but coped well. Food was acceptable, although friend’s pork was a bit chewy! Desert lovely.

An excellent meal for both of us. Service from start to finish was excellent, too. The Tikka Spiced Chicken that I had was better than any takeaway of the same I have had. My partner said the Braised Lamb Shoulder was fabulous too. Good value for money too. Thanks and we will definitely be back.

None of us five diners really enjoyed our meals. The pasta was overcooked, the veg was cold, fish and chips lukewarm. We waited so long for the server to take our dessert order we gave up. We had been seated next to a large family gathering which included small children and the noise level was intolerable.

We were with some friends for a meal but there was a singer on and the sound sop loud that you could not hear speech on the table. Service was slow and we had to approach staff on a number of occasions to actually get served with drinks and sweets. Food was good and plentiful.

We were a party of eight, booked for 7pm, although some of the party did not arrive until 7:15. We ordered drinks, which arrived whilst we were viewing the menu. After ordering, we waited at least 45 mins for food to arrive. Standard of food was good, but service extremely slow. We had to ask for table to be cleared when we finished, we had to ask again for dessert menus. We ordered desserts, which arrived after 9pm. We joked we’d still be there for breakfast! We left at 10pm. 3 hours for two courses and no coffees, which weren’t offered anyway. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, and although the staff were friendly enough, the service was just appalling. We definitely will not return, and we will not be recommending to anyone else.
