   Excellent food and service. Odd restaurant equipment items in places near the rest room and other areas of the restaurant. Otherwise, nice decor, etc.

   My husband had the ribeye and I had the shrimp stuffed flounder. The shrimp stuffed flounder was very good. The problem was the steak that was initially brought out was a very thin cut ribeye and was overcooked. It had to be sent back. We shared my flounder until his meal came out so that we could at least both be eating at the same time. Here is the deal: if you are going to charge that kind of money for a ribeye, you absolutely cannot send a flank steak sized cut out. Save those cuts for a salad or something else. The second steak that came out was what was expected and was very good. We will be back; the food is good.

   I was disappointed as I had been there just last week and wanted to order the same things. Since it was valentines day they had a limited menu and I was unable to order what I wanted. My Salmon was over cooked and crispy one end so a little dry.

   Fantastic experience! The food was wonderful. The shrimp stuffed flounder with risotto was one of the best dishes I’ve had anywhere. Atmosphere was great and waitstaff were so helpful. Highly recommend!

   Ordered a bottle of wine from their menu They charged me 125.00 more for a bottle of wine not on their menu. Admitted their mistake. No credit or deduct. Manager never came and discussed. Poor service. Never got my wife’s main course. Sad.

   I HIGHLY recommend The Library at Fern! I made a reservation for 4 people on Open Table the morning of the Friday evening we went, and when we arrived, our table was waiting for us. Our server was very attentive and friendly. For starters, we each ordered a side wedge salad....which was small wedge, fresh, and very flavorful! 3 out of the 4 us ordered the 5 oz. filet which came with garlic mashed potatoes and one additional side....(1 chose asparagus and the other 2 chose the green beans). Each steak was cooked to perfection just as it was ordered.... The other person in our party ordered parmesan crusted chicken which was presented beautifully over a bed of garlic-flavored Orzo, and it was DIVINE!! We also ordered a side of the "Crispy Brussels" for the table, and they were also prepared perfectly... Tender Brussels, Crispy leaves, and roasted in the perfect amount of olive oil! And let's not forget the cocktails.... Our lemon drop martinis were crafted to perfection (If you want your rim fully sugared, I would recommend asking for it, or you may get a half sugared rim!) We will definitely be back!!

   I absolutely love the entire experience at The Library on Fern. The atmosphere is charming, with a beautiful setting that makes every visit special. The food is consistently delicious, with a menu that never disappoints. Whether we're enjoying a relaxing brunch on Sundays or savoring a delightful dinner, the quality is always top-notch.     We loved The Library on Fern in Shreveport! The BBQ pizza was delicious, the cheese pizza was simple but perfect, and the truffle fries were some of the best we’ve had. Great food and a nice atmosphere—we’ll be back for sure.
