   The food at this restaurant is delicious! Not your ordinary brunch. The cups and plates are unique and very artistic. The location is a lovely spot to sit outdoors. This was my first visit and I was very impressed.

   We were so pleased to be seated indoors on a chilly morning. We had a large group and our service was so good! Everyone said their food was delicious! Love the view!

   The food was outstanding. My husband who is a world class chef loved the food especially. Megan, the GM, stated she was getting heaters sooner than later. The doors were closed so if you dress warmly you’ll be fine until they get heaters. It’s a fabulous restaurant.

   It was a lovely day in La Jolla. They offered blankets in case we were chilly. Nice amenity.

   I've had meals at many urban kitchen group restaurants. Typically they know service. Not the case at this restaurant. It was mind boggling. Our server took our order and we never saw her again until I had to literally waive her down, and it was long after we were eating our meal. There was an item I ordered which never came. I expected she might check back at any time after we got our food, but no. This was not the case. We were offered more coffee right after we got our coffee, and again, never again until I had to waive someone down, which I hate doing. But when other servers kept walking by ignoring us, I didn't know what to do. It was my friend's birthday and I would have ordered him dessert, but no one ever came back to ask if we wanted anything else. In the end, the bill was left, I was charged a 3.95% service fee, and then was supposed to add another tip for bad service. I did tip 20%, but wondered why. An insincere "have a good one," was our ending to our experience at what could have been one of my favorite new venues. Service really makes a meal. This lack of service spoiled nearly the whole thing.

   The food wine & service were excellent. Only issue is most of the seating is outside and it’s cold at night in November! Even with 2 heaters nearby and lap blankets.

    The Kitchen has become our favorite place to take guests and is a great place for dining for just the two of us. Terrific service, food and ambiance.
