   We felt the service was slightly rushed, We requested to wait a few minutes before our main was served, This is not a bad point but we wanted more time to talk. The member of staff who gave advice on Port with my my cheese was very Infromed and helpful . Very pleasant surroundings and very good staff Overall an outstanding evening

   The Kingsway dining experience is a bit like stepping back in time in a really good way. The service is excellent and the food is always of the highest quality both in taste and presentation.

   Great food and service. Only downside was we were booked to eat at 1pm and didn’t get served until 2.15pm which meant we were quite rushed time wise Not sure why as it didn’t seem particularly busy.

   It was my mother in law’s birthday and I thought it was a nice touch they had put a birthday card at the table. There were a few little points which could be improved. We were not offered water when we sat down but I saw other tables being offered water. The trio of desserts cost £3 extra, but the portion of all 3 together were far smaller than a single portion of the other dessert my party got. I am not local and have only stayed at the hotel in past and had breakfast but not dinner or evening meal. No one mentioned there was a cloakroom we could have left our wet coats in, or offered to take them from us.

   Food was excellent and great value - room Looked lovely all twinkling lights . The only down side was it wasn’t very warm and it was an exceptionally cold evening .

   A Lunchtime Delight at The Kingsway, Cleethorpes Our 12:30 lunch at The Kingsway was nothing short of spectacular—a perfect midday treat that left us thoroughly impressed. Dining as a group of three, we were warmly greeted and shown to our table, where the attentive staff immediately made us feel at home. We all began with the fishcakes, which were absolute perfection. The exterior was golden and crisp, giving way to a soft, flavorful filling that was beautifully seasoned. Paired with a delicate sauce, this starter set the bar high for what was to come. For our mains, we each had the Beef Bourguignon—a dish that can only be described as a masterpiece. The beef was incredibly tender, practically falling apart with every forkful, while the rich, hearty sauce was deeply satisfying. The accompaniments were equally well-prepared, making the entire plate a symphony of flavors. Desserts were a fitting finale to this exquisite meal. I chose the trio of homemade ice cream with fresh fruit, which was both refreshing and indulgent. Each scoop was smooth and bursting with flavor, perfectly complemented by the vibrant fruit. My companions had the crème brûlée and the chocolate brownie. The crème brûlée’s caramelized top was flawlessly crisp, giving way to a silky custard beneath, while the brownie was decadently rich, with just the right balance of gooeyness and warmth. The service was impeccable throughout—attentive without being intrusive, with every detail attended to with care. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, making it an ideal setting for a leisurely lunch. The Kingsway delivered an exceptional dining experience that we will be talking about for weeks to come.     We had a very enjoyable meal. The beef was delicious. The waitresses were very friendly and didn’t rush us at all
