Love it here but it’s got pricey plus not a fan of them adding service charge on the bill. I know they would take it off but the service is good but would like to choose the amount I give as money is tight. 4 people mains and puddings two drinks each 180.00 seems a lot only pizzas and fish and chips ordered plus puddings But will go back because I love the pizzas but not as often .

The staff at the jolly sailor’s were friendly , polite and helpful the food was excellent and good value. I’ve been to the pub three times in the past ten years and it’s always been a pleasure to visit. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

We had a very enjoyable time at the Jolly Sailors as a family of 5 plus greyhound! Food was excellent, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. My daughter also really enjoyed playing in the garden between courses

We had booked a table on the Monday, not for the food but for Nelsons Shantymen. We had family staying from Hertfordshire. The food was decent. The service good. We have no issue with that however the Shantymen were not in the dining room and therefore we could barely see/nor hear them. Very disappointed on this occasion.
