    Service, food, atmosphere all faultless. Not a special occasion as such, met a friend for a regular catch up but was made special by being in The Ivy!

    Flew in from USA to take wife’s daughter out for her birthday. There was 6 of us including other daughter and husband, and birthday girl’s boyfriend. Was very busy and vibrant time if year in York. Had a wonderful time. Food was excellent and had 3 bottles of Boudreaux and a nice bottle of champagne. Everyone left very pleased. Service was really good and attentive. Will definitely go again.

    I was very disappointed with the food on 12th December. My husband & I were using a Christmas 2023/voucher from family and were looking forward to having the Christmas menu. Unfortunately the main course of turkey Ballantine was very dry and over cooked! The main & dessert courses were lovely however. We were also very surprised at how expensive the drinks were. We could have had a cheaper and better meal elsewhere in York where we have dined before on many occasions. We would not recommend The Ivy in York to anyone else - sorry!

    We had the most beautiful evening celebrating our anniversary. Fabulous food, lovely service and great ambience. As always The Ivy lived up to expectations.
