The newly opened Ivy Royal Windsor is the latest gem in our modern-day brasserie crown. Located close to Windsor Castle, it is the perfect place for locals and the visitors who flock here to see the changing of the guard ceremony, to enjoy delectable dishes and celebratory drinks.

In light of Windsor's rich royal heritage, beautifully designed interiors are brimming with elegant touches. Delicate shades of red and gold feature on sumptuous soft furnishings and in the finish of our sophisticated central bar, while pretty jewel-like colours can also be seen in stunning murals and carefully-curated artworks. Our waiter was superb, really friendly and hrlped us woth our coats and bags, lovely man. The fish was a bit fishy more so than cod but chips and my chicken with wild mushroom sauce was good.

The first waiter who served us was good, but he was replaced by another, who was slow and very inattentive. Mains were unseasoned, sauces obviously from a plastic pouch, sides cold with no flavor.
