   It was my first time going to the ivy room for my husband birthday and I must say I enjoyed it. Music was great, the steak was really good and the service was terrific.. it a beautiful place to dine and enjoy a glass of wine…

   Everything was great, the food the ambiance, service! The only con I have is the loud jazz band music they have, a little less loud would be nice.

   Having attended other restaurant week events before, I would have to say I was disappointed. The level of service was subpar and the food was just ok. I went there predominately for the ambience and live entertainment, but even that was just so so. I had expected more as I had told the place that it was my birthday and unlike other places I have eaten at in the past, nothing special was done for me on this of all days. I was seated at the back and even though it had a view of the stage, it could have been better owing to the fact that it was a weekday and the restaurant itself was not at the capacity. I felt a bit rushed to finish my meal and then exit. I experienced better service and atmosphere at my neighborhood restaurant in Astoria, where the waitress went out of her way to make me feel happy on the eve of my birthday. It has been a hard two years for me, as I have had to navigate my divorce and also deal with the deaths of my younger sister from breast cancer as well as my mother in law. Additionally I have had to deal with the fact that I have been diagnosed with a perpetuity tumor too. It would have been nice to have been made to feel special on this one of days. I don't think I will return to the Ivy Room again...

   The food was really good. And the mimosas too. Maybe took a while to be attended, or when we requested to refill the glass of mimosas. But I think that’s a trick for them too. But really good

   Decided to try Ivy Room for a small intimate birthday dinner and to our surprise it was also restaurant week. We had such an incredible dining experience and our waitress Triana made the experience even more worthwhile. Her energy was infectious and her recommendations for the Bass entree was very well received. Overall the food was quite yummy, but the evening was really made a success by how hospital and warm Triana was with her service. Highly recommend.

    Sunday Jazz Brunch with a Pulsd coupon was a great value. Woe had unlimited Bloody Marys & Rose (2 drinks each). Burrata with peaches & baguette toast & a cheeseburger with french fries. Everything was excellent including the service.
