   The surroundings were attractive and although busy was not too noisy. The food was excellent with the right amount of time between courses. We didn’t feel rushed to leave. Emma was excellent serving at our table. Just the right friendly attitude.

   We ate here on Sunday and the whole experience was fabulous! The food was excellent as always and for a treat there was live music playing. We loved the atmosphere and the face painting on offer just added to the whole experience. It's one of my favourite places to eat in Marlow and Sunday was no exception!

   I have been to various Ivy restaurants many times and very much enjoyed the food and drinks. However this visit was the worst, food wasn’t great, ordered coffee which took 1/2 hour after we mentioned the whereabouts, the sugar bowl had been put on the table so presumably coffee would follow, coffee arrived cold. Main courses not great either. Service wasn’t great either, such a shame Unsure if we will return.

   The menu is very limited which generally means good food but with a burger, cottage pie and fish and chips as some of the choices for the mains it was a bit disappointing as these are meals you have at home. Not what I want to eat at somewhere like the Ivy. My wife ordered a sirloin steak which was extremely tough. The staff were extremely apologetic and took it away and replaced it but I had eaten my meal before her meal was returned And this ruined our anniversary meal

   We enjoyed an superb 3 course set menu, which was delicious and amazing value. As always at The Ivy, the service was excellent. Our only unpleasant experience was being charged £16 for a glass of wine.
