   The place is gorgeous, food really tasty highly recommended the black cod! Service was good & view of St Paul’s brilliant. Only thing to say was that our table was a bit small to fit the dishes but overall we had a lovely experience. Would definitely go back.

   There is a lot to say about this visit. We were met very well and had our coats taken, our table was ready and the ambience was great…atmosphere without being too loud. After sitting down we rarely saw the same staff member twice and often had to work very hard and wait to get people’s attention despite there being a lot of staff members around. The wontons were surprising as they were effectively nachos/crisps. Tasty but not what we were expecting. The gyoza were very good, well-sized and full of filling. The tempura prawn melted in the mouth and the edamame were good and enough of them. The large plates however were a bit of a disaster. While tasty, the sriracha and sesame chicken had quite a bit of gristle. Despite ordering the Prawn Rendang I received sweet and sour prawn. I queried it and even asked a manager who told me that was indeed the prawn rendang. It was tasty but not what I ordered. I then asked a third member of staff who admitted it was the wrong dish. They replaced it but brought the wrong rice and there was no apology. Overall the staff were not great, often avoiding eye contact. Finally our legs stuck to the bottom of the table and when looking there were 5 pieces of chewing gum on there. When we informed the manager he apologised and took a fair amount off the bill. Overall it was a disappointing experience despite the food being very tasty and the atmosphere was great.

   Fabulous decor and surroundings, but the music was too loud! Not sure what the point of the two blokes walking around banging a bongo drum and shaking maracas was all about - very annoying. The turnaround on tables is s bit tight - felt like we were being processed on a production line. Food and drinks fantastic and beautifully presented, but overpriced. Enjoyable evening, great experience but would probably not return.

   We had the set festive menu as we did last year and food was amazing, everything was delightful, and presentation gorgeous. My only criticism was the service was quite slow due to the restaurant being so busy, and we felt quite rushed, even though we didn’t sit down until 45 mins after our allocated time. The waiter didn’t really listen, so our order was assumed, however this was fine and a small gripe but we wanted to add a few dishes…. This was done as the starters were arriving. Also an additional bottle of wine was added without ordering but taken off the bill at the end. Definitely check the bill. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely with an amazing view of St Paul’s Cathedral - definitely worth stopping off if visiting London.
