   The food was very very bad, I have been to Ivy many times and know how good it can be. The hot dishes, came after 8 minutes of being ordered which is impossible, meaning everything was basically microwaved. The chilli noodles were literally stuck together. The prawn tempura in the sushi roll was so cold. Although we had to send one dish back, no manager came to the table at any time to see if we were okay. Overall, the standards have dropped so so much!

   Excellent lunch, lovely dish selections available, great service, lovely waiters and waitresses and a super table by the window. Incredible decor! Wheelchair accessible facilities as well. We will be back!

   I found the waiting staff very rude with no social skills at all. The waitress dropped a glass on my son which smashed on him. There was no apology, no attempt to see if he was ok or to offer any kind of good will. they just carried on as if nothing had happened. Will not be going back and would not recommend to anyone.

   The dragon set menu was not very good. All dishes were bland in flavour and very small e.g. 1x 20p sized popadom per person for the starter.

   Excellent food and ambience. Service not great. Server forgot our starter so it came at the end of the meal. Our server never checked on us during our meal and brought the wrong check at the end of the meal.

   We arrived early and was accommodated with a table which was appreciated. Eveline was amazing with her suggestions and recommendations for us. The food was delicious and perfect sized portions which enabled us to enjoy desserts. The lychee mocktail was enjoyed along with the Jasmine tea. Overall a wonderful first time experience and will be returning.

   Beautiful ambiance, good food, and good service. What I didn't like: It was way too loud, and I found the music inappropriate. Its a Restaurant Not a Disco…It's supposed to be cool, but it's just annoying. It was practically impossible to have a conversation. Also there was a hectical atmosphere (because of the limitet time) The restrooms, on the other hand, were really nice. Unusual design. And you have to rush a bit to eat because there are limitet time slots…but that was ok because I knew It by booking the table. But because you can Not Talk you only eat your food and take pictures…so it does not realy matter.

    What a nightmare. We have visited many Ivy restaurants across the country and highly rate the consistent high quality Ivy experience - food, atmosphere and service . So we were excited to book the Ivy Asia Mayfair for my wife’s birthday celebration on a Friday in May. The Ivy Asia Mayfair failed to deliver on the Ivy brand promise. Food - the regular Ivy menu is centred on classic dishes with a twist. The Ivy Asia dishes were Asian classics, but missed much of a twist (honourable exception being the spicy tofu). Atmosphere - the music was nightclub level loud - very difficult to hold a conversation across the table. We were seated outside two ornate doors to a private room where a large party was under way. There was constant noise and disruption with the doors opening to allow party goers in and out for smoke, toilet breaks etc. When we complained to our waitress she said ‘yes we staff are finding it really noisy too’. So we complained to the manager who sympathised and said she would move us when a table became available. Service - our waitress forgot one drink from our order. Then our water order. Then the plates were not changed between starter and main. As we were finishing our main the manager arrived to tell us we could now move table but clearly it was too late. After finishing the main courses we were in need of a quick exit and asked for the bill. After a long wait our waitress brought out a birthday cake with lighted candle for my wife. Still no bill. But my wife and the rest of our party had left 5 minutes earlier to recover in the relative calm of the street outside. No discount or recognition of the disruption which we had clearly been subjected to. What a nightmare.
