   My experience was absolutely stunning, the ambience of the restaurant immediately hits you as you walk in. The service was near perfect and many thanks to our server Jamie as the service was impeccable and also incredibly friendly aswell. The food was just unbelievable, no words to be honest.

   The Ivy Asia is a stunning venue, great vibe, loud, fun and beautiful. This one in Brighton however was no where near as good as my experiences in the Ivy Asia London or Manchester. Food was rushed, all coming at once with no room on the table (not steady flow of food which is expected with the sharing style). Some food had to be sent back as the prawns were not good at all. Some elements were forgotten (I had to ask several times for a drink order), and overall it was disappointing. It was a special occasion and I felt it just was a let down. Previous visit to IA London for example when ordering a dish that comes with eg 3 spring rolls, if you are a group of 5 they will ask if you want to up the number to 5 spring rolls. Not here, we ended up sharing bites of small plates not knowing how many items on each order. Service felt a little amateur although I must say that they were accommodating when we arrived as the table was under the aircon and freezing and they did offer alternate spot. It’s a very expensive restaurant and they pitch themselves at the top level so they need to deliver at that level and on this occasion they did not.

   Fantastic date night experience. My partner and myself truly loved our evening there. David and Jamie were brilliant. Haven't got anything bad to say. Thank you ivy Asia Brighton!

   All in all an ok experience. We opted for the cheaper of the set menus which was possibly a mistake as options were limited. I specifically asked the waitress whether anything on the set menu was spicy and she said no. However the main noodles dish was very spicy so I couldn’t eat it.

   A beautiful restaurant. Stunning presentation, great ambience, loved the DJ, Food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. What let it down, you felt like you were on a conveyer belt. No time to finish starters before duck was delivered to the table, no time to finish the duck before mains were delivered to the table. Plates whisked away and bill given with a polite ‘could we ask you to vacate for the next customers’ Such a shame to be rushed so for such a lovely place.

   It’s a good experience. Food is good but others are at least as good. The venue is fabulous. It’s expensive
