For a high value place, it’s a 50:50 when it comes to delivering. On this day it was a disappointment. The wine we chose which was 3 rd from highest on list was the sole bottle. Not mentioned at start. Our mains took over an hour to arrive such that the table in front which arrived after us and yet finished with desert before we got our mains was such an obvious development and still the staff could do nothing but be left bewildered. It instigated a ocnvwratuon amongst us on the table. We shattered debated about whose fault it was and who / what manager should be expected to do. We did not wish to stay any longer after this experience and didn’t want to order a desert. But the classless and manager less order of this restaurant showed its face with a lacklustre show of force. Their apology was lacklustre. Their grace didn’t even allow for a free desert which we never ordered. And there was never an ask for discount so we didn’t expect it but felt there was something definitely missing with a graceless management fault. Would I go there in a hurry? NO. When you have the public’s house group running faultless pub operations throughout London now. Salt not in this area and Cadogan arms showing the way for quality food and service in this area I think I get what it takes to go to a quality food and service gastro pub. This spot had decent food. Advice is left wanting and I left half my chicken on the plate because who would expect a corn fed chicken to be softly battered ?! Yuck. Very poor

Wonderful Sunday afternoon at the Hunters Moon. The roast was (we agreed) probably the best roast dinner we had ever eaten outside of the home - the roast potatoes were amazing and the gravy, thick and unctuous was just to die for!! Staff were also lovely too, it’s a real gem that you would miss if you weren’t looking for it. We will definitely be back for more!

I didn’t like that the Resturant welcomed dogs while dining.

Five stars (again) for service and food. Our Sunday roast was top notch. We felt the red wine options could have been better, both in variety and in value.

Excellent Sunday lunch experience. Lovely and helpful service. Food was really exceptional - delicious croquettes and equally delicious roasts - pork belly and beef, both cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Walking distance from the Victoria and Albert Museum, a really charming place. My fiancé ordered the meat pie which he loved. I ordered the ravioli. Mine wasn’t great, I wouldn’t recommend the ravioli but the service and experience more than made up for it. Definitely a cool spot.
