I had a really wonderful experience at The Hope. There were flowers and candles on the tables and some brilliant music playing. The atmosphere was lovely! I had the Vegan pie and mash and it was so lovely - I'll certainly be visiting on my lunch breaks again in the near future! The staff were really kind and helpful. A cute little traditional pub with great food.

Despite not giving the Hope 5 stars overall, it was a great experience. There aren't many places in London, certainly in the centre, where you can get good food and have a decent pint for just over a tenner. Definitely a case for 6 stars for value.

Amazing pie!! We all had the Mothership and oh my god, it was incredible! Thank you to Jess and Emma for their great recommendations - we will definitely be coming back soon!!

I rang up and had a whole conversation about the vegan menu, and discussed coming on Sunday with my family. "Ok, see you then" was the response. The kitchen is not open on Sunday! Thanks. You know it's the main day people go out for Sunday Lunch in a pub? It would have been helpful if staff pointed out that the kitchen is closed when discussing the menu options for a booking
