   We had reservations for 6:30 pm, the service was very slow. We ordered salad, wings and pizza. We asked to get our salad and wings before the pizza. It took 45 min to get our salads to us and one of the salads had to be returned as it was not what was ordered. Another 10-15 min wait. When we were done with the wings and salad, our waiter asked if we wanted dessert. We said no, we would like our pizza. We finally received the pizza at 8pm. We asked why it was taking so long, the waiter said they were extremely busy and he thought they had lost our order. We asked to talk to the manager and was told that one of the two pizza ovens they have wasn't working. He did take the pizza off our bill. We were there over 2 hours.

   Overall, we love coming to the Grill. It is convenient, prices are coming to other restaurants in Green Valley. We had a server who told us that he was only on the job one week. When we were first seated, We asked to have a few minutes to look over the menu. He said he’d come back, but didn’t. We asked another server to find him and tell him we were ready to order. He took our order, but didn’t check on us later, refill our drinks or water, etc. We realize that new people need to have some time to adjust and learn their jobs. Our server apologized and thanked us for our patience. I’m only suggesting that maybe he should have had more training, or shadowed another server to learn.

   We took two new residents of Green Valley to dinner. They were pleased with the food and we enjoyed our evening.

   Went to Quail Creek Grill for the Tuesday night special. This time it Chicken Piccata. It was excellent. Whoever is in charge of sauces and gravies is a master. It was creamy, but still had that piccata punch, and so tasty. I also had the asparagus and I want to find out how they make it. I could have eaten a whole plate full.

   Quail Creek Grill was a great experience. The servers were attentive and friendly. I had the battered fish and chips. The food was slightly overcooked but I easily overlooked that. The scenery was breathtaking given the fact that I was looking at a golf course. This gave the meal a nice touch. I was celebrating my 50th birthday at the time and I almost wanted to take the plunge and become a resident. However, I realized that I have five more years to go before I qualify. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely come back. Maybe when I turn 55.

   We went to Sunday Brunch. Food was delicious. I had the Turkey Madera Sandwich and fries. My mom and husband had the Tuna on Avocado Toast (should have been served with a steak knife, hard to cut with table knife. ) My sister got the hamburger and fries. Portions VERY generous. Took home half of my Sandwich and fries, and Mom took home half of her Tuna on toast. They took too long to serve our drinks, but they apologized without us complaining and comped our drinks. One of our favorite local restaurants.

   Food was very good. It would be nice to eat with a band that plays instrumentals. You can not have a conversation with each other let alone hear yourself think.

   The food was good, but I ordered what I ordered previously and it was not the same as the first time. I loved it the first time and the second was not quite as good.

   Cuban Reuben was excellent, and huge ! Love the crispy fries and my Manhattan was delicious. Pot roast was also excellent ....overall above average experience.

    They don’t do well with groups of eight. Took an hour before we ordered food and then another hour before we got our checks to pay. Haven’t had any issues when there are four or less of us.
