   I booked a table at The Greyhound to celebrate a birthday. From the moment we came through the door we were greeted with a smile and immediately shown to our table upstairs. For the whole evening everyone who served us were top notch, nothing was too much trouble and everything was carried out with a smile. We had the tasting menu which was excellent and we rounded off the evening with a tour of the historical building and a chance to meet the guys in the kitchen. Thank you for a really good evening, we will definitely be back.

   I have visited The Greyhound in Beaconsfield many times over the last four years and I sincerely cannot believe how this extraordinary establishment has not got at least one michelin star. From all the restaurants I have experienced that do have stars, The Greyhound has more than equalled, if not surpassed those standards. Every time, I have been completely blown away by the experience. The attention to detail from the moment you walk through the door always floors me; being greeted by the same team members who remember every single detail and make you feel incredibly special and welcome. The food has been consistently exceptional every single visit. Using interesting ingredients that is created and cooked with immense technical skill. The presentation of the food, not only on the plate but from the server elevates the experience to a whole other level. Daniel will even give you a private tour of the beautiful garden full of their own fruits, vegetables and herbs which are always explained at the table. Their knowledge of produce and wine is incredible which is beautifully illustrated especially in their glorious tasting menu along with a masterfully chosen wine pairing. The beautiful dining room is sumptuous without feeling stuffy or too formal. The staff always go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, where nothing is too much to ask and you never feel rushed. This is real hospitality - relaxed, sharp and of the highest standard. I used to travel far and wide to experience food like this but since discovering The Greyhound in Beaconsfield, I feel like I have truly struck gold.

   We had a wonderful family lunch today at The Greyhound. After hearing so many good things about it from friends we finally decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint! The children shared a lemon and courgette risotto, I had the chicken thigh and the husband had the cod. Every dish was superbly flavoursome and aesthetically pleasing. All the amuse bouches were a nice touch and pleasant surprise. We were also given a tour of the kitchen which the children particularly enjoyed. The venue is lovely and elegant, and the service faultless. We will definitely be back.

   First class menu to select from and all of our dishes were extremely delicious and beautifully served. Great service from friendly staff. Our guests were very impressed indeed

    this restaurant is exceptional on every measure. The food delights in its innovation and taste. Service is top drawer. and one is felt 100% welcome even to the extent of personalised serviette rings. they deserve every accolade
