   Stopped in before seeing a show for brunch and had a really good meal! Solid menu and dishes came out great. Coffees/teas were excellent.

   I was visting New York from Georgia & had heard so many great things about The Grey Dog ! I tried it out for myself & wow !! Worth every penny ! Going back for their happy hour !

   Fantastic delicious food. Service was incredibly quick. Tables were a bit too close together but other than that, it was excellent. We’ll be back!

   We ate here twice during our visit to NYC. The first visit was a walk in- lovely welcome, great service delicious food. Based on our 1st visit would have given 5 stars, however our 2nd visit was very different. We booked for our 2nd visit, arrived on time. Welcome was really poor, person ignored us for 5minutes even though no one else in front of us. Once we were acknowledged we had to wait for a further 5 minutes despite a number of tables being available, we were then given a very small table for our party of 4, which was set for 2, when I asked could we have one of larger available tables I was told the table was for 4 and that the other tables (that were set for 4) were all reserved for 5 people. Some tables did have reservations signs but not the ones I pointed to. I advised again the table was too small to which she said fine, sit there & threw the menus down. Maybe just having a bad day, happens to us all, but interesting no parties of 5 came in or sat at any of the tables that were apparently reserved. Thankfully our waitress was lovely as was the food & service. Would visit again despite this as the food was great.

   Service was fine with the exception of an appetizer that came out with entrees. The table was small so hard to share an app as we couldn’t put it in the middle with entrees in front of us.
