A great addition to the 78704! Stopped into The Greek Bar on a Sunday night with a party of 4. The space is beautiful with a large outdoor patio in front, and the staff is so friendly! We ordered a dip sampler, the lemon chicken soup, and spanakopita (honestly, could have stopped here) as well as the Greek Chicken skewer. The food was fresh and flavorful and the portion sizes were generous. Friends also ordered the Greek Salad and Moussaka - looked and tasted amazing! I really love that they have a large selection of Greek wines on the menu. The server let us know they were working on Happy Hour menus and specials as well as brunch, so we’re looking forward to what they have in store. Definitely get in while you can.

The food was good but portions are very small. The service was shaky at best. Everyone was kind but it was annoying to have my cocktail refilled with water and only have my husband acknowledged. The restaurant is cute but needs to be cleaned more regularly. The bench seating has food on it and when the table next to us was moved there was so much junk, dirt and food underneath it and the sweep up job left a lot of it behind. I was excited to try this restaurant but will not be back.

Overrated. Disappointing Services was the worst j have experienced in a very long time. No greating or welcome. The atmosphere was loud and way too bright. Food was highly overpriced for the portions and quality. N ot a great experience at all.

The Good: This place is really cute and the vibe is definitely island Greece! The cocktails were beautiful, well made and I loved that they made cocktails out of ouzo and mastiha! The wine options by the glass were good too. Decent menu variety and felt there were options for many diets. Welcome service was great and we were tended to immediately. The app dips I tried were delicious as well and I enjoyed their pita. They were out of the loukoumades but the baklava was delish! Despite some of the experiences below, I would come back for a HH or light bites. The OK: We dined for Sat. night dinner and the inside was incredibly loud - you really have to nearly shout to talk. Maybe some sound absorbers on the walls or lower volume music could help? Our server also had the softest voice, so we never knew what he was saying, but he was very kind and prompt! The appetizers were pretty tasty - we got the whipped feta, spanakopita, octopus and saganaki. But the portion sizes are quite small for the price. A $17 saganaki cheese came out as a 5-6in thin triangle with no bread and we waited 10 minutes for bread to come out. I've never had this cheese without bread served. The spanakopita only came with 2 for $15. My husband's pork belly "gyro" had very little meat on it, and it only came with 2 for $18. The ugly: my friend and I both ordered the chicken skewers. Halfway through dinner, she realized her chicken was raw on the inside. We sent it back and 1 minute later, a fresh plate came out. No manager came over, but it was speedy so we were happy to move past it. She cut into the first piece and it was STILL raw on the inside. Then the manager came over and apologized explaining what happened, which we didn't really need to know, but she was very apologetic and kind. They removed the plate off the ticket and gave us a small discount with complimentary dessert.

The menu looked good online but didn't quite come out as we'd hoped in the execution. Way too expensive for what it was.

Some of the best service and food we have had in a long time! From the grilled octopus to the lamb. Top quality food and service.
