We booked a table for two and requested a corner table as we were bringing our two rescue dogs, the staff had a table set aside for us which was perfect. We wanted coffee and cake as it was a birthday celebration, I ordered the carrot cake which was ok but not as enjoyable as carrot cake which I have had there previously. My husband had a flapjack which he found too sweet for his taste, the coffee was delicious although the cups were small. The waitress who took the order was very helpful but the whole experience was just a little disappointing and felt expensive at over £17:00 for two coffees, a small slice of cake and a traybake. It is great to be able to take dogs into the cafe and the paddock which the dogs can walk in is lovely but I think if we go back it would only be for a coffee and no cakes.

Hi Mary, thank you taking the time to share your feedback. I’ll pass your comments about the carrot cake and flapjack on to the team, as well as your thoughts of the overall pricing. We do pride ourselves on being as dog-friendly as possible, so it’s great that you were all able to enjoy the space we have on-site. A delight - no wonder it's busy! A lovely environment - very modern and clean, light and inviting. Very friendly and efficient staff, very good burgers and cake, excellent value and so so dog friendly with water, treats and even a dog walk on site. Plenty of parking - we will be back. Shame it's not closer otherwise I could go every week.

Always a lovely experience when we meet there. The atmosphere is very nice and you feel as if you’re contributing to a very good cause while enjoying some delicious food. If you like mackerel pate it’s being added to the new summer menu. I tried it today and it was absolutely delicious, the best I’ve ever had!

Lovely place to meet up with friends. Especially if you have a dog, as there is a secure field for exercise before or after enjoying good food.

Modern, clean cafeteria/restaurant in lovely country setting and good service. Always a dog or two to say hello to and it is nice to see the disability helpers policy is operative.
