The Grand Marlin Restaurant features a main dining area with a shucked to order oyster bar, exterior North Drop Bar overlooking Grand Lagoon, and private meeting rooms. This Panama City Beach restaurant, with an air of island casualness, serves the highest-quality cuisine, including the freshest local seafood featured on menus designed and printed daily to take advantage of the local bounty. The atmosphere creates a fusion of the Caribbean and the Panama City Beach Area. Corporate Executive Chef Gregg McCarthy has a passion for great-tasting food and particularly loves working his culinary magic with fresh Gulf Coast seafood. Boaters and beach-goers feel comfortable in shorts and flip-flops at the oyster bar, in the dining room and at the North Drop Bar. The Grand Marlin may be a seafood restaurant, but they have the BEST ribeye steak around! Juicy, seasoned well, and cooked perfectly with a nice selection of whiskey to pair with. Service was proper, quick, and attentive from both server and manager, but was not overbearing. My family will be making this our go-to spot for all future birthdays! Truly a place that actually deserves 5/5 stars.

The online menu shows a picture of a whole fish dish, when asked about it was told we don't do whole fish dishes , had been looking forward to this for twelve months. The table we were given was upstairs and right next to the serving / bussing station - very noisy and annoying. All in all very disappointed

We are locals and always have a fabulous experience. Our waiter for this special Thanksgiving meal was Chris and he was great. Some things that make a difference and put Grand Marlin at the top are-reservations are always on time and details honored, never had a meal where the management didn’t come ask about our meal and the food is consistent and on time!
