We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere away from the busy city Saturday afternoon. We had their afternoon tea and prosecco. Choice of food was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly but still efficient. Will definitely be back

Lovely hotel but food wasn’t anything special and there was only one savoury tart and 2 sandwich fillings suitable for vegetarians which was disappointing. Been a few times over the years and it’s definitely went downhill and not as much selection overall

Great customer service very attentive .. buffet was nice but felt there could have been more different sandwich selection, and more food options x the cake section was delicious 😋. The price for 2 persons was £50 which I thought was a bit expensive when you can get deals for £20 less for 2 persons x

Wouldn’t rush back Sandwiches had hard and dried bread like they had been sitting for ages, hot snacks were haggis, which husband loved but i’m not keen, would have been nice to have some variety. Scones were dry too and the fresh cream looked like someone had been sick in it, left lying out in the hot room. Did absolutely loved the sponge cakes though made the most of them. Service was too slow, not much staff around and took forever to get a drink

Selection of food wasn’t very good, for a fussy eater there was no sandwiches or sausage rolls that I would eat, the cake I brought over to the table when I went to cut it there was a hair on the top of it, not sure if it had came off another customer Or not but it was poor! We waited a good ten mins after arriving before being offered a drink. Again not knowing if we were aloud alcohol or not? So ended up with yea and coffee which we are not keen on, This was bought as gift for our engagement and I can honestly say it was very disappointing… far too many people in at the one time rather as concentrating on the customers that are I

Without doubt, one of the best afternoon teas we have been too. The sweet table was just way too tempting. We'll definately come back

This is the 2nd time we have come for the afternoon tea & it didn't disappoint. Food fresh, great selection & tasty. Will definitely return. Only wee thing, the air conditioning was on so was a wee bit chilly.
