   The Goodyear House never disappoints. A very tasty and eclectic menu. Nice wine selection and excellent cocktails. Service was friendly and attentive. A nice upscale casual place.

   The food was wonderful, our server was very kind however after the food, it took forever to get the cake we brought, the checks, etc. we were there for almost 3 and a half hours. The cake we brought we decorated beautifully for a birthday we were there to celebrate. The did not provide correct cake service as they pre cut the cake & brought us out slices, we never even got to see the cake. The floral that was on the cake was brought out on a plate. This is incorrect cake service. As you’d do a wine cork service, it’s to be done at the table in front of the guests. It completely defeated the purpose of the celebration and the beautifully decorated cake that was spent 6 hours making. On top of that, the check was brought out with $100 taken off the entire bill on one check all together. Although that was a great fix to the mistake the restaurant made, once the checks were split up, the $100 off was gone. Our server was not aware that when you take a % off the total bill and then proceed to split up the bill, that % off goes away. We then had to wait longer for the bills to be split & the % taken off correctly. It took a very long time, an unnecessary long time. Cherry on top, the manager never made an appearance at the table. He should have come over and introduced himself and spoke to the entire table about the mistakes that were made. Instead he flagged over one of us to speak to us in private. As a previous manager myself, the correct way to handle this would have been to come to the table himself, speak to the entire table about what happened, apologize & make it right, right then. This was an unfortunate experience as the vibe and food were amazing. We may return but we will not return to celebrate an event.

   The food was wonderful, but we felt enormous pressure to get in and out FAST for table turnover. Drinks arrived, 2 sips later salad arrived. Halfway through the salad the appetizer arrived. Entree arrived before salad was finished, and halfway through the entree, the server came back, asked if we wanted anything else, then before we could answer (like, maybe another drink??) she said "how about a dessert menu?". In and out in 45 minutes?? Not what I would expect from a Top 50 restaurant.

   I really wanted to love this place. The building itself is adorable however that’s where the experience ended for me. Our server seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Where she was courteous, the menu wasn’t explained, no beverage options were offered once I explained I don’t drink alcohol/sodas, the plates weren’t cleared until we stacked them and we weren’t checked on like her other tables. We became acutely aware of the lack of service because the server who had the table next to us was great. The food was average, the one stand out was the warm cheese. The menu is a la cart which is fine but none of the offerings seemed to pair well to be able to make a cohesive meal. All in all if you want a place to have some wine and graze this place may work for you. Unfortunately I don’t feel like we will be returning.

   Southern food with some Asian inspired seasoning. It was delicious but definitely heavy.

   Overall I had a great experience, I asked to sit at the bar because the back room was loud. The food was just okay to me but would go back for a drink!

   Loved the wedge salad and the goopy burger! Also the Mac & Cheese was delicious and shrimp app. Bread is amazing with honey and butter! The Kombucha drink on the mocktail list is soo good!

   Bailey was a great waitress she was very knowledgeable of the menu and she answered every question I asked her bout the menu to the parking and igloo lol.

   Our table was outstanding!! From the lights, to the wall, it created an atmosphere that was downright cozy. My friend ordered the chicken biscuit, and I ordered the S.E.C with parmesan fries. Annndddd, we had mimosas!!! Good friend, good times, it was truly a magical experience.
