   The location is very good. However, the food, even though it is claimed to be authentic , I didn't find it to be so.

   Sadly, the service was poor, and I canceled my next evening's reservation. The view was beautiful. Perhaps the service issue was unusual, but it was my first experience at Golden Lotus, and I was very disappointed. Yes, I mentioned it to staff before leaving the restaurant. It didn't seem to have any noticeable impact.

   The receptionist is really nice that able to get us a nice table and help us to get free parking ，it is an authentic Hongkong style cuisine, the atmosphere is comfort and relax, very nice experience.

   Our host was very nice and took good care of us. One server was very offstandish, and the head chef seemed a little mad at his staff. But the food was good. The wonton and spring roll platter was very good. My kids enjoyed their General Tsao Chicken and Fried Rice, and Hubs had the fried noodles with seafood which he enjoyed too. Our host served as well. Authentic Cantonese food. Overall alcoholic drinks were weak, we had to ask them to make the next one stronger, which they did. Host helped us save some money on parking as we had parked at the casino for a couple of days and parking at the hotels is very expensive.

   Probably the worst food and restaurant experience we’ve had in Niagara Falls. I’ve had better Asian food at a mall food court. They need to figure out their service. Our first meal was brought out about 50 minutes after ordering and it was our main chicken dish. We had ordered 2 apps which hadn’t arrived yet. When I asked about at least our rice dish the server said it wasn’t ready yet. So we received our meat entree with no apps or rice to eat it with. Then we received our rice dish. Then our noodle dish with one of the apps. And finally once we had finished eating, our 2nd app arrived. It was the strangest service ever. We ended up sending it back as we were already done and a little grossed out because the dishes were not good. The seafood seemed slimy and undercooked. The noodles were burnt. The rice dish just had broccoli in it. The chicken was dry. It just wasn’t good at all. The server seemed a little dazed too. When we were first seated she took away our chop sticks and water glasses and even my husbands placemat. I thought she was replacing them for some reason but she didn’t. We ended up getting some from the empty table ourselves. We dont recommend it at all. Save your money (it was way overpriced as well! Especially for what we got). Next time we’ll stick to Ponte Vecchio or the 21 Club. Or even Luckys.
