The George is Providence's newest piano bar and upscale casual dining restaurant featuring American fare, elevated comfort food, delightfully crafted cocktails, and live piano every Tuesday - Sunday.

Enjoy Brunch with Live Piano every Sunday from 10am to 1:30pm and dinner from 2pm to 5pm.

Our Speakeasy Lounge opens every Friday and Saturday evening at 7pm. Seating is available on a first come, first seated basis. Live music starts at 9:30pm.

Party of 4 with 4:45 reservations, we were seated right away in the bar area - nice vibe, good cocktails and great food. Waiter was very attentive, took our cocktail and appetizer order right away however the cocktails took close to 15 mins to be served. Appetizers were served before the cocktails. Waiter apologized for wait. Will definitely be back.

The George is a bit indescribable: a little bit throw back a little bit bistro a little bit traditional like when your parents took you to a special place. Food is very good, menu extensive, service great and prices reasonable. Only one thing could be added; maybe a vegetarian/vegan entree or two. I always have a couple of fish dishes to chose from but a great veggie lasagna or grain legume veggie entree would be most welcome Overall a great place

Food tasted fine but portions were way too small for the price. Staff was great, our server could not be nicer! Overall fine experience but again the cost for food was way over its value.

The hostess was wonderful. We booked on OT a few minutes before going in, which made the restaurant scramble. They were extremely nice and seated us in the bar area even though they were completely booked! Our waitress, Cassidy, was top notch and the food was amazing! We’ll definitely be back!
