About this restaurant

The George Inn is situated next to the stunning 11th Century Selby Abbey right in the heart of the market Town of Selby, North Yorkshire. We have our own piece of history to share too, being a 15th century coaching inn, where in the past, horse-drawn coaches used to change horses on the way to their next destination.

We have free onsite parking for our hotel guests.

We have 25 rooms available which all include TV, desk, iron, tea and coffee making facilities and one of life’s essential items, free Wi-Fi access. Some of our rooms are also equipped with extra items so do give us a call to discuss which room is going to be best suited to your needs.

We are also unique in that we have a newly transformed nightclub next door that plays music to suit a variety of different tastes and is open until late on a Friday and Saturday

we have a Popworld located next door and is open from 10pm till late on Saturdays.
