All of our food came out cold. They offered us two free deserts. So we paid for our cold dinners, but we received two deserts. Bad business. I will never recommend or go back to this restaurant.

More casual than I remember, and noiser with lots of families with young children (we were there on the early side). Think we sat downstairs last time and it was quieter.

I tried to make a reservation for 6 pm, but only 5:45 and 6:15 were available on Open Table. Ok, fine. But arriving at 6 pm anyway, the huge restaurant was nearly empty. The hostess was stressed, and couldn’t at first find the reservation, though she did reluctantly accommodate my request for a quiet table (which meant taking us to one of the several nearly empty rooms beyond the busy and noisy front room). The restaurant did fill up an hour or so later, but by then I was feeling like an interloper in a restaurant where I was not welcome. The service was fine, and the food good enough, though unremarkable. I’d call it expensive, somewhat soggy, mediocre pub food, trying to be fancy. Not worth the hype or the money.

Service was good and our server was particularly personable and accommodating. The appetizers were exceptional, and my husband’s and my lamb shanks were nicely done. However, my daughter’s short rib was overcooked and dry and the accompanying macaroni and cheese was cold. This was after the kitchen had sent out the wrong combination of our meals which the host quickly dealt with.

A wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner with family. Very attentive service. Loved the second floor room we were in. Delicious three course pre-fixe dinner. The hanging bacon, of course, was outstanding. The Brussels sprouts were another winner. My family enjoyed the turkey, the short ribs, the steak, and the ravioli. Nice options. I loved my butternut squash soup, my boulevardier, and the crème brûlée . Overall, a quality, memorable meal.

They were out of many beers and liquors, likely due to ordering and the holiday season. They had several items in the menu that were marked gluten free that were, in fact, not gluten free. Overall, they were very accommodating where they could be and the ambiance was great. I would highly recommend.

This was our first time dining here. We have eaten at David Burke’s other restaurant in Fort Lee a number of times and we were really looking forward to trying out Fox and Falcon. Our 3 appetizers were devil eggs, lobster dumplings and fried calamari with fried shrimp. The dumplings and deviled eggs were good. The calamari and shrimp were not freshly prepared. They tasted like frozen food that was heated. Between appetizer and dinner, there was a long pause… perhaps as long as an hour. When dinner came it was a real disappointment. My husband and friend ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and spinach with mushrooms. The filet was cooked as ordered but the meat had no flavor. The spinach was in a ball with a few mushrooms on top. I had the shrimp and scallops that was served with butternut squash puree and petite pesto gnocchi. There were 3 shrimp, 2 scallops and they were in a bowl of butternut squash soup! The gnocchi were flavorless, ice cold and the soup overpowered everything. The soup too was cold. The last and worst dinner served was the Branzino . This was severed over a “puree” with fried cauliflower. The puree was properly placed on the plate, but the branzino was served skin side up. The fish and cauliflower were both cold and the fish was over cooked. When we brought it to the waiters attention, he apologized, removed the plate and offered something else in its place. My friend got a Caesar salad which was just okay, certainly not what he wanted for dinner. The restaurant had started emptying out as our dinner was served and I think our waiter left our dinners sitting in the kitchen longer than they were suppose to be. The only reason they got any stars is because in the end, they did the right thing. They didn’t charge for the dish they took back or the Caesar salad.
