   We booked a table and arrived early and they were very accommodating. My husband who adores fish dishes ordered the fish of the day and was a little disappointed as he doesn’t like fish with head and tail on. They forgot his potatoes but were very kind in giving us 10% discount. My dishes were absolutely delightful and I can’t fault anything so please visit and enjoy. Regards

   A fabulous meal - even for the non fish eaters! They said the burgers were one of the best they’d had - crab salad was fantastic so fresh and woof the same - couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend.

   Very good meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. Although I ordered the large fish & chips and my wife ordered the medium but I would say our fish were pretty much the same size to be honest.

   Fabulous food as always. Recommend the muscadet to drink. Pipil starter lobster for main. Best in Whitby. Our 4th time dining here. Highly recommend.

   We had the fruits de mer and it was lovely, but expensive. Had to ask for bowls and the bread and butter but that was soon sorted The staff were lovely. The toilets were terrible, dirty and no toilet roll.

   Great, friendly service. Child friendly. Food came out as requested (kids mains at same time as adult starters). Really delicious, well-prepared and presented food.

   The food and setting were lovely, the haddock was beautiful and the scampi juicy. The portions were good and the food was hot. Unfortunately the service let things down. They forgot our main courses which we had to chase with little apology given. When asking for condiments we were given a tiny bowl for 6 of us so had to ask for more. We had to request cutlery and napkins which were almost plonked on the table. No-one came to check if things were OK, we weren't asked if we wanted more drinks. It was a shame as the restaurant had been recommended for my in-laws 75th birthdays.

   Our most favourite place to eat in Whitby. Delicious food, friendly staff, brilliant service - our go to venue for a celebration! Or just for lunch! or to take some friends! or to enjoy the view when it is cold outside. Definitely highly recommended!

    Was recommended this restaurant so had high expectations, unfortunately these were not met. There is a lot of competition for fish and chips around Whitby, and these were probably the worst I have had. They were expensive £17.99 for cod and chips. No extras, No tea. The fish was thin and dry, certainly not what I was expecting. Won’t be going there again.
