Led by a team of lifelong Chicago restaurant figures, The Evie is a locally-owned upscale dining destination located at the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Led by Partner George Archos (Wildberry Café), Chef-Partner Nick Nitti (Forno Rosso, Lucia Rose, Cucina 3 Italian), and Executive Chef Phil Rubino (Spiaggia, L2O, Cicchetti), the restaurant provides city locals and visitors a place to unwind and indulge while overlooking iconic Michigan Avenue. Named after George’s mother and daughter, the concept puts family at the forefront, with an emphasis on warm, Midwestern hospitality.

Evie offers full lunch/dinner and weekend brunch, presenting a menu of reimagined American classics and city favorites, spotlighting dishes like chef-crafted sushi rolls, freshly baked breads, Chicago-style Wagyu hotdogs, and USDA prime steaks.     There was a delay with our seating, but the staff was great. They provided a round of complimentary drinks. The food was great and the atmosphere was great.

    Tallia was our server and she was amazing. The food was wonderful as well, however I will just say that the Greek salad, although absolutely delicious with a side of salmon, was a bit expensive for cut up cucumbers and tomatoes. Other than that, I look forward to coming back again soon.

    We like to come here with people who do not live downtown. We sat in the front window and could look out at all the lights and everything happening on Michigan Ave. The food is always good -- never disappoints. This time I tried to smoke carrots and crab cake (6oz). Yummy . My husband sticks to the Roastbeef sandwich and our guests had veggie burger and regular hamburger and were both very happy with their choices. In the past have had the Evie salad -- divine and the salmon entree -- also delicious.

    Overall a great meal and drinks. Very nice ambiance for an evening meal downtown. Our table shared the smoked carrots, volcano roll, hot dog, dip sandwich, and the strip steak. Everything was excellent other than the steak which was good but not amazing, as the cut was rather thin and it just didn't blow us away. We really enjoyed everything else though, and drinks and dessert (brownie and banana cream) were very good too. Natalie was a wonderful server.
