Located proudly in the heart of Long Beach City, the Eldo - formerly known as the Eldorado - has been a staple in the LBC restaurant community since 1957.
Owned by South African native Trevor Nettmann since 2012 - the Eldo has been restored to its fullest potential & now boasts an eclectic menu of both American // South African fare.
With a sole focus on serving the highest quality food + craft cocktails & locally brewed craft beer - is passionate about cultivating both a local // international menu with an equally captivating atmosphere for each guest.

    Excellent service by Danica. Helpful with my dietary, medical substations. Tender, ribeye, my husband’s favorite. My favorite, lamb shank, was also tender and flavorful. Highly recommend.

    Food was good. Service felt rushed. No menus given. We had to use our phone to scan a QR code. Service isn’t great inside so it took a while for the menu to load up.

    We live in The Ranchos and just love The Eldo. It truly is the best ribeye in town.

    Our server, Angie, was so delightful! Engaging, helpful, offered up the appetizers, was wonderful. Food was super tasty! Ordered another order of fries! Yum!

    Excellent table on patio by the fireplace provided a great dining experience which was quieter than inside . Food choices were plentiful and arrived quickly. Our server Zoey was superb! Pleasant and responsive without intruding on our conversations.

    The food and service was excellent. The fish and chips cooked perfectly. Extra crispy fries very tasty, no ketchup needed
