We ate here for our 21st anniversary, and I let the restaurant know through opentable that my wife is gluten and dairy-free. There was no communication of this to the restaurant and it was a big hassle for our waiter. He was short with my wife when she tried to ask about their gluten-free options and whether the sauces contained dairy, to the point where she couldn't find anything to eat. The kitchen took it upon themselves to make her a gf/df sauce for her meal, but he wasn't going to ask because they "don't like special requests." Way to make us feel as though we're a burden, even though we're the ones bringing our money to the table. Laughable. The food wasn't anything special. My steak knife was so dull I tried using my butter knife on my delmonico, but I didn't feel like asking for a sharp one after all that. They also sat us on the railing as usual which is incredibly awkward and exposed; our fault for being late probably. Next time I'll look elsewhere for a nice dinner.

The Earle never disappoints my hubby and I. The food is always consistent and during restaurant week we went there because of the reasonable value meal of a 3 course dinner and introduced a friend to the dinning experience. We had a good time till the end when our waiter threw away my doggie bag which was half of my dinner! Parking was horrible so it took me some time to return to retrieve my doggie bag. Doors were locked but kind customers let me in. She should have put aside the bagged meal for a little longer. I was so disappointed.
