The Depot Restaurant is a charming neighborhood restaurant located in a stone building just a block off the Plaza in Sonoma. Locals and visitors to the Wine Country enjoy Tuscan-inspired cuisine in spacious dining rooms, and on the terraces of the Italian garden and reflection pool. In addition to products made in-house, the Sonoma wine country offers an abundance of new artisanal products to enjoy. The wine list is heavily laden with local Sonoma wines as well as wines from Italy. Come join us for dinner...or just drop in for some small plates and a glass of wine! Take-out is always available, give us a call to place your order over the phone!

    Sat in front room next to fireplace. We had the room to ourselves. The staff were attentive but not on top of us. The food was delicious (got short rib and carbonara), portion size was moderate, but food quality was great and did not feel hungry afterwards. Had nice chat with manager Susan. Would recommend this as a quieter alternative to EDK. Will come back again.

    Always a hit! They nail it every time! Salmon was fantastic as well as my husband’s generously sized ribeye steak! And the burrata is one of my favorites in town! We will be back soon!

    What a great find! We are local Sonoma County but had never visited this restaurant. Went for my husband's birthday dinner. The atmosphere was fantastic and we're looking forward to going back this summer to enjoy the beautiful back patio area. Service was great and the food was wonder. Will definitely return!

    The manager was wonderful. She came over and chatted with us for quite awhile and made us feel very welcome. The waiter was patient and kind as we took a bit to decide on what we’d like to order. The outdoor area looked beautiful but unfortunately we visited during cooler weather. Perhaps we can sit out there next time.

    Everything about The Depot was wonderful!! We were seated immediately for our 5:30 reservation, and our server was very attentive from the beginning. From our drink order through the appetizer and finally the main courses, our server was very attentive and personable. The timing of courses couldn’t have been better, we were able to visit amongst ourselves and the items presentation was seamless and quick. The quality of the appetizer (calamari) and entrees was excellent! I can’t say enough good things about our experience at The Depot in Sonoma! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! 5 Stars!!
