This was a very disappointing experience for our Christmas meal. The host who greeted us at the entrance was pleasant, but from that point onward we received almost no service. No one came to take our drinks orders and after sitting around for a while we figured we should just help ourselves to the buffet. The buffet food was a good selection, but the Christmas dinner Turkey and ham were both dry and the side dishes were uninspired. The most frustrating part was that the buffet ran out of plates and cutlery and none of the servers were responsive. Considering we had paid $100/pp as a table of 5, plus a service charge, we just felt very ignored. The meal felt like a basic buffet at a cheap restaurant. I left feeling very disappointed.

Disappointing, went there for Christmas Day for the buffet and on arrival the buffet had been out since breakfast, it was dry and unappealing, the buffet was in the ballroom and really stale atmosphere. We got a refund and left to the bar for a drink, the forgot our drinks and we needed to reorder.

The Den is great. The review is for the Christmas buffet in the ballroom. Dont Pay for it. I watched multiple tables leave angry and get refunds. The food wasnt bad for a Buffett but there is no service. No server. No plate picker upper. No one to tell you want to do. No way to order a drink from your table. Buffett did not have serving utensils. People used their hands. Crab legs had no utensils to crack them. So no one really had crab. If you asked for utensils, they would bring you one. This was honestly the biggest ripoff I have had in a long time. I was actually jealous of the angry people. I had teens with me, and they were equally like why did we pay for this but I didnt want to make Christmas Eve negative by complaining but come on Nita. You took $100 a person and put me in a giant room, tried to give me a table for 8, when I have 4, to spend with another family when there was 8 or more empty tables for 4. You didnt have one person working the ballroom. A ballroom. No one working it. No serving utensils on the buffett. The crab legs were water logged. Half the mussels were closed on the Buffett which doesn’t make you want to get food from it. I had to get up for every single thing. Everything. Water, wine, anything. No server and you charged $100 per person

Went to the lodge for a casual Sunday lunch. It was very quiet on the day so difficult to give the full 5 stars for ambience, but it feels like it would be a cosy place if fuller. The food menu is filled with of generally robust Canadian fare, but this is what we were looking for and I really enjoyed my bison hash. Our server was very attentive and helpful.

The atmosphere, service and decor were incredible. We loved the experience... But the serving size, and pricing felt way off. The 32 dollar striploin was maybe 2.5 oz. Ridiculous. Also, the kitchen is shared with the bar, and their menu included big burgers, giant plates of nachos... So you watch these giant serving of food go by you to the bar area, and then you recieved a comedically small portion. I ended up having to order more food, which should never happen after spending 12 dollars for bread for the table and a 32 dollar striploin. The servers were incredible and the service was great. Knowledgeable, attentive and warm.

We went during their prix fixe 4 course dinner. Value was great. For $59, you can get appies and mains that other fine dining restaurants in Whistler are charging as upgrades including steak and salmon tartare and dry aged striploin. I did find that the XO sauce in the amuse bouche, tartare and scallops were a bit too much and repetitive. Everything was done perfectly other than too much XO.
