   .In the centre of York, a lovely clean environment .The restaurant has plenty of choice and a good variety of food and drinks to choose from .Staff very polite and welcoming .food amazing .the service charge is optional

   The food, service, choices on the menu and the soroundings where all fabulous. IF Visiting York you should really vist this restaurant absolutely fabulous

   Steak was beautifully cooked. Burger cooked to perfection. Lemon Meringue baked Alaska superb. Would definitely go again.

   We booked the 2 course lunch menu and it was lovely!! All the staff were attentive and Plifford who served us was lovely. I booked it for my husbands birthday, and they mentioned it once we were seated and gave him a birthday card, which was a really nice touch! It is an expensive menu but the lunch menu is well worth it.

   My friend and I ate there on Monday evening. My friend ordered a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc noting it was £38 (or thereabouts). She didn't spot there were two NZSBs on the list. It was only when we got the bill we realised we had been served the £68 NZSB. The waiter should have clarified which bottle we wanted, and if he was going to assume anything he should have assumed the cheaper bottle. Very disappointing. Regarding the food, I ordered fish and chips and the chips were undercooked and hard.

   Freindly welcome on arrival great polite service food was perfecto everything cooked to perfection i strongly reccomend the sharing sunday roast just wow 10/10

   Amazing all the staff which was working the 22/3/2025 was amazing so polite we booked in at 4pm couldn’t fault it. Please let them know they was perfect! p.s Sophie xxxxx

    Walnut hummus for starter was delicious, ribeye steak cooked to perfection overall a great meal out for birthday treat , staff attentive and welcoming . Would definitely recommend
