   Second visit in 2 weeks - really good steaks and sides cooked beautifully. First visit I experienced excellent service throughout - polite, attentive as well as friendly. Second visit was rushed, impolite (reception lady was particularly rude) and not personal. They were too busy/understaffed. We also got moved because the table wasn't big enough for our steaks! Will be back however, fantastic food and a lovely restaurant.

   We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Anagh, and it was a standout experience from start to finish. His knowledge of the menu was exceptional, helping us navigate through options with confidence and enthusiasm. Anagh’s attentiveness was unmatched—he was always present at the right moments without being intrusive, ensuring we felt completely looked after throughout our visit. What truly stood out was his genuine passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience. It’s rare to find someone who clearly cares so deeply about their role and goes the extra mile to make guests feel special. The Sunday sharing platter was phenomenal—easily a 10/10—and paired perfectly with the wine, which Anagh expertly recommended. This level of service deserves recognition. Thank you, Anagh, for making our visit memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

   Booked a table, but when we arrived we were told our table was ‘nearly ready’ as the people seated there before us had just paid their bill and was told to stand at the bar as there were no seats to wait. It was half an hour after our booked time when our table was finally ready. There were multiple sides not available, such as home made chips - which we both were hoping to order. The same happened when trying to order a dessert. We were seated upstairs near the bar area up there, other customers were told to wait up there for their tables - this then meant they were crowded round our table, feeling very claustrophobic and having other people resting and leaning on the back of the chairs. The food was nice and the serving staff were great but there were some aspects that put a dampener on the experience.

   Table for 5 upstairs which was better than the.tables downstairs, all very crammed. Was very busy, however, the place was decorated lovely for Christmas. The food was disappointing and overpriced in our opinion. For this reason we wouldn't return as there are far better places to try.

   To start off we were made to wait for 30+ minutes stood by the bar when we arrived on time for our booking, a very tactical way to get people to spend more. After querying when our table would be ready we eventually got taken to our seats. Where we waited another 15 minutes for a drink order, and another 20 to order food. We had been in the venue over an hour before we ordered food. Once ordered we proceeded to sit and wait more for the food to arrive. Everyone around us received their food, despite arriving well over 40 minutes after us. After asking once again where our food was as we had now been in the venue over an hour an a half, it suddenly turned up. One of us was then missing a meat from the trio of meats. Otherwise we cannot fault the food, it was delicious. While eating the presumable manager came over to apologise, she said she would be back to sort this once we’ve finished. We then waited easily another 20-30 minutes for the plates to be taken once finished whilst multiple staff members walked past and saw us. The lady who had previously said she’d be back saw us finished and blatantly ignored us multiple times. Clearly avoiding giving any sort of compensation for the horrific service. Then to top it off they have the nerve to charge £20 service charge! Real shame as we had been looking forward to this special birthday treat, shocking service don’t waste your money.

   Love this place - amazing food and service every time we visit- the Sunday Roast for 2 is immense. Our server today was Charlotte and she was an absolute delight - thank you again

    Fantastic experience from start to finish 🥰 service was fabulous , Rebecca was our waitress she was outstanding, the food was exceptional, the flavours just wow 🤩 we cannot wait to experience Cut & Craft when we are next in Leeds Thank you
