The Crafty Moa menu includes something for all appetites’, pub snacks, Sunday lunch, evening dining and a ‘Wee Moas’ children’s menu. Using the freshest locally sourced ingredients and New Zealand’s finest high country lamb, farmed venison and seafood, no appetite will go unrewarded at the Craft Moa.
Time has been taken to create a menu utilising fresh local produce, served with care and passion.
We have a small kitchen and small team. Preparing fresh food takes time. Relax, have another drink, and enjoy the atmosphere.

    Our first meal out in NZ. Was recommended by our accommodation host and did not disappoint! Really enjoyed our meals.

    Made a last minute booking here as thought it would be nice. Food was delicious. The setting very nice. It was busy but not crazy. Lovely staff too. Very handy to Arthur's Pass where we were staying. I would like to stay here in the accomodation sometime.

    It was our 30th anniversary, and it was very nice of the staff to wish us well. The service was always with a smile, and the food was great. The views were also amazing. We spent 3 weeks touring the south island from top to bottom and east to west, and the Moa was one of our definite highlights.

    Nice place. But being very a bit far from any major city the food options /menu is very limited. Nice bar, very pleasant atmosphere and very nice staff.

    Had a lovely meal here apart from roast vege salad being a bit dry. Staff very friendly. Great to have shuttle service collect us 10km away at our motel, and take us back again. Great service

    We had a lovely meal! We live and work close by so it was a nice treat to head out and have a lovely meal and drink at the crafty moa restaurant. We will be back for more!

    This is a fantastic restaurant in a remote hotel near Arthur’s Pass village. Brilliant free shuttle transport to and from the venue. Food was fab.. good choice of dishes.. we had lamb and steak.. portions could have been bigger! Cocktails were tasty and service was excellent. Lovely spot for a meal with great views from the restaurant.
