Our award winning, classically trained French chef, Heidi Shelley, is a Valdosta native, who brings a playful rendition of American cuisine with a South Georgia twist. This was our second time dining at The Cove. We loved it. I had the Delmonico steak with herb butter topping and my wife had the salmon. Service was great, (Trinity our waitress) was great. 👍🏼👍🏼

Awful, absolutely horrible experience. Hair cooked into our appetizer, mixed up all of our sides and our steaks which didn’t matter because they were all awful! Bar drinks were slow to come out and my water glass was dirty!

I was really hopeful for this new spot. Even after seeing so many negative reviews, I decided to give it a chance. It was extremely disappointing. For starters, the bread the server brought out was so touch that you couldn’t pull it apart, let alone attempt to chew it. (Think impression material at a dentist’s office) My medium-well steak was super pink and didn’t have a drop of seasoning. It tasted like notebook paper. We had to ask for our salads (which were good). My husband had asked the person that took the order if he could have loaded garlic potatoes. She said yes. The servers brought out regular loaded mashed potatoes AND a bowl of regular garlic mashed potatoes. My husband mentioned that he’d ordered loaded garlic. The server said “I don’t know. I’m just bringing out what they told me”. Never again.

I didn’t go! I left special message asking if open but didn’t get message back! They were temporarily closed. Wanted to know about closure! Anyway gonna try it August 17
