Our first visit and we really enjoyed it. Menu had a good choice. Alcohol a bit pricey but expect this in such a beautiful setting. Only thing I didn’t like was the 12.5% service charge. We always leave a tip for good food and good service but I do object to it being added to the bill. Would recommend

Food was very nice, but pricey. Service was slow, with no apologies for the wait. Tables very close together. Despite the restaurant being only a third full, they tried to squeeze us in between two other couples. I asked for a better table and was told no problem, why not just give us a good table in the first place? I advised it was our 20 year anniversary when i booked, and someone called a week in advance to check this. But on the day there were no nice wishes, no good table (as already mentioned), not even a candle in the dessert. Very poor. Given the price, it just didnt feel special. I doubt we'll be back.

The menu needs to have more information, we were told we didn't need sides,however the mushroom Wellington for example came with a couple of teaspoons of mash and carrot had we known this we would have ordered sides. Very tasty though

Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly and helpful member of staff who went out of her way to accommodate us even though we were rather early. Unfortunately after that service was rather slow. We had a cocktail and a bottle of red wine which we considered to be overpriced. The Court is cavernous and quite soulless. It wasn’t very busy and the atmosphere might improve if there are more people. We certainly wouldn’t rush back.
