   I’m so sad to write this because The Corner Office used to be my favorite spot for brunch, but it’s completely changed. It feels like a typical hotel restaurant now, and unfortunately, the food tastes that way too. I had to send my drink back because it was flat, and the replacement was just as bad—their taps were clearly weren’t working either as we could not order draft beer. The beignets were undercooked, and honestly, nothing we ordered was good. Such a disappointment. I encourage you to explore other options because this once-great spot is no longer worth it.

   Last time here was great earlier in 2024 during restaurant week, but this time was more average. Burger at $20 was great, but the scallops entree had just 4 small scallops which were not terribly fresh at $40. Side salad was good and very affordable. Service was capable but slow.

   We dine at The Corner Office whenever we attend a performance at DCPA. It’s always been great. Unfortunately, this evening it took 45 minutes for our food to be served. When I asked our server about the delay, she didn’t seem very concerned. It was difficult to enjoy the dining experience because I started to become stressed about arriving for the show on time. The food was great, and with the exception of this time, we’ve always had a great experience.

   Great place to eat before the show, mot a big menu but consistently good, and service is terrific. Alex rocks!

   Lured in for the advertised Christmas buffet which they did not have. Host didn't do anything but shrug and make a comment about the head chef from last year quitting (huh?). Since it was Christmas at 5:30 p.m., there was no option other than eating there. Would have been nice to have been offered a complimentary appetizer or beverage, but they didn't care enough about our ruined plans to offer. We ended up ordering two of the Christmas pre-fixe specials with prime rib, salad, cheesecake - unfortunately no other holiday meal options. It was okay, nothing remarkable. Others had to order off the regular menu since they do not eat red meat. One ordered the scallops (way undercooked, I tried one and had to spit it out) and one ordered the KFC sandwich, which was underseasoned. First time I've ever been there, and it will definitely be the last.
