   Kmzie ( I hope I spelled it correctly) was an attentive server! The male host was so gracious and informative during my seating process. The food was 10/10, the live saxophonist, and the drinks were all apart of my great experience. I will be back!

   Had dinner here in a Saturday night at 7:30pm. There was large birthday party in the private room so I know they were busy. We checked in and were told to sit in the bar area until we were seated at our table. I will say it took over 20 minutes for us to be seated. Once seated we met our server (Denim) who was amazing. He provided us thorough guidance to the menu and made some great suggestions. He was fun and upbeat and very good at his job! The music was on point of course as were the decor elements. I just wish that the main line track lighting was dimmed as having the main dinner floor more dim would have taken the vibe over the charts! All and all the food was tasty (and VERY spicy) and the portions were more than generous. We left before the real dance party (that apparently happens later in the evening) began but I can imagine the vibes. They were intermittently strict on the dress code at the door for males. We saw them turn away a couple of guys for their attire ((t-shirts, shorts ripped jeans etc) but then we also guys inside with similar dress so not sure. For guys: to be safe wear some sort of slacks and a shirt with a collar. Also they had a photographer working the room taking photos and then returning with framed versions of photos that she took in frames for purchase. Definitely a hustle but the photo quality was good and we ended up buying one

   Really loud! Great food! Internet makes it look much fancier. Service was good, as good as could be. Food was what I would go back for. Nothing else.

   My recent visit to The Continent DC was an overall fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, the space impressed with its sleek design, vibrant decor, and a soundtrack that set the perfect mood it was an amazing vibe. We started with appetizers that came out quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. The suya wings were smoky and flavorful, the beef suya was fantastic perfectly spiced and tender and the veggie samosas were crisp and satisfying. A highlight was the boerewors, a rich and flavorful South African sausage that really stood out. While the entrées took a while to arrive, they were absolutely worth the wait. I ordered the whole fried red snapper, which was crispy and well-seasoned, and the spicy goat pepper soup bold, comforting, and full of depth. I’d definitely return, though next time with a smaller group for a more seamless experience. Still, The Continent DC delivered a memorable night out with great food, music, and energy.

   Outstanding The ambiance is beautiful and comfortable with African accents and soft music The food was delicious and nicely presented Paired Nigerian shrimp wit a Pinotage from S Africa both excellent Service was top notch My server Kae went above and beyond to make sure I was enjoying my meal , explained the menu in details highlighting the signature dishes and providing excellent suggestions Overall seven ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Yes the Dubai standard.    It was as if there was not a cook there. The food I was being served was prepared wrong and did not have the same quality. My bill ended up being $302.67 I just left. It was very frustrating bc it was my daughter’s birthday and I wanted her to experience the food. This was my fourth visit.

    I went for my birthday, but they had half of the restaurant reserved for a private event. While I am an Event Planner myself (Director, Meetings & Events for over 25 years), I've never experienced so much rudeness from wait staff. The food was ok, the ambience was really nice, the noise level was perfect, it's just the rush rush from the wait staff that left a bad taste with me. My server Denham was the BEST and he did his best to accommodate my table.
