    Great server, wonderful food as well. Would have liked a couple more veggie options that weren’t smoked or covered in oil, spices. That’s just a preference. Otherwise, amazing and will go again!

    I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as soon as I walked in! We had fantastic service from being shown to our table until leaving. Our server was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. I love this idea of shared dining instead of ordering a ready made plate. The steak we ordered was cooked perfectly and our chosen sides were delicious. I don't remember the name of the beet and cheese dish but I literally wiped it clean with the bread loaf that came with it! And we finished it off with sticky toffee pudding. Best of all, we weren't rushed. Along with our cocktails, the price was very reasonable. (We were celebrating our wedding anniversary so they also gave us complimentary champagne - that was lovely) That was my first time there as it was recommended by my son and I will definitely be going back!

    Once again another amazing meal and ambience at The Common Stove. If you haven’t tried them already, the burgers are absolutely delicious. The juiciest I have had the pleasure of eating. Oh and that Simcoe Shank at the end of the night is always a delight. It’s like a bowl of silky smooth ice cream in the belly. Highly recommend Common Stove🍸

    A great evening as always. Great dishes, awesome atmosphere. Only mistake we made we chose the “fried squash” instead of the exceptional carrots. It was good, but squash lost in the batter. Oh well……bread,pork,halibut….all great!

    A friend of ours had suggested The Common Stove to us so, as NYE approached, we decided to make a reservation. I’m so happy we did. The food, service and style are exactly what we hoped for. We started with oysters and scallops, which were superb. My husband ordered the duck pasta, based on the recommendation of our server, and I ordered the halibut. Both meals were absolutely amazing. Sadly we didn’t leave room for dessert, but will definitely be returning at our earliest opportunity. Highly recommend The Common Stove!

    Fantastic new years eve dining experience. One of the best meals we've had in a long time. The food, cocktails and service were all 10/10. An experience that is well worth the drive if you're visiting from out of town. Our only regret was not saving room for dessert. We will surely visit again.
