The food was only ok. The starter of fish cakes was enjoyable, tasty and hot , but the Moroccan vegetables was disappointingly tasteless except the overriding taste of balsamic vinegar.

I was surprised that I was phoned the day before and asked for a £10 deposit on our classic afternoon tea for two, which I booked online, however, we could not fault the food which was lovely and freshly made, especially the scones. Being offered a top up on the pot of tea would have been a lovely gesture too!

From the App it seemed that we could order the a la carte menu at lunchtime which is why I booked a table. Upon arrival it turned out we couldn’t. However the (much reduced) menu offered some interesting but fairly unexciting choices which were appetising but not exceptional.

We booked a Christmas meal and were told we could not have one when we got there. We except that,but they could have brought us some crackers out. We waited quite a while for food. The game pie had no game in, mainly vegetables. The fondue pudding we felt for 8.30 was a real rip off. I am afraid we will not be returning

Very enjoyable. Good choice of Tapas. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Could have done with more table room and a bigger plate! Will go again.

Fabulous restaurant with the most delicious steaks! Reasonably priced for the serving size and the fact that the sauce is included, whereas most other restaurants have optional sauces at an additional price. Attentive service by very pleasant and friendly staff, always willing to help and go that extra mile. 2nd visit to this restaurant when travelling for business and definitely as good second time around!
