   Booked a table 2 months in advance as I'd family joining from overseas and we were seated in the outdoor area. Very disappointing when booked so far in advance. When I raised this concern we were placed in the bar area not the restaurant as would be expected when booked in advance. Felt very quiet and zero atmosphere which is so unfortunate because I've been regularly to the Clermont and never experienced this before. Such a pity when I was being joined by family who only has this as their experience of the Clermont.

   Disappointing experience. We’ve dined here lots of times over the years. It’s past its best. The food is still lovely. They are using the outside area in winter and calling it the restaurant (when it’s not). It’s cold even when we sat under a heater. The service is shocking. There were plenty of staff standing around and yet our meal still came out ‘warm’ not hot. They arrived with the rib eye steak and then it took 5 mins to bring the chips. The drinks were really slow. This place has lost it’s way. The servers are ok, but not warm or friendly. When we had a quiet word with the manager she only offered to fake off the calypso coffee that had arrived after everyone had finished their meal (the reason was they had forgotten to bring it). Such a shame, as we had looked forward to a nice new years meal. They need to sort themselves out.

   Very accommodating . Excellent food and service. Sea bass entree was delicious . Steak and burgers were excellent. Apps and sides are big. Best to share.

   Penny pinching. Charged €2.60 on the bill when asked for a small garlic dip to have with chips instead of ketchup. Left a very sour taste when paying €100+ for a meal to be nickle and dimed like that . Won’t be back

   The Afternoon Tea was absolutely delicious. The food was exquisite and the atmosphere fantastic. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

   Lovely young staff but could do with an active and experienced floor manager Some “hot” food dishes delivered cold to the table A bit more discernment in dressings and flavourings would be good

   I have eaten here previously and our group really enjoyed the dining experience so I decided to book this restaurant as a special treat to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Unfortunately, although my booking was made long in advance, we weren’t placed in the main restaurant, but in the back room, which looked like the garden space for the restaurant overflow. There was no ambience, and it didn’t look like the restaurant we were hoping to be sat in. My husband’s Scallops starter was a total disappointment, and then his steak arrived overcooked and cold, served on the cold plate. The main course was replaced, so were the sides, but it completely spoiled our dining experience, as the new dish arrived when I was practically finished with my main course, so we didn’t even get to eat at this same time. The only positive this evening was that the waiter serving us was upmost polite, kind and trying his very best. What suppose to be a lovely celebration evening turned to be an average overpriced dining experience. I would definitely not be in any rush to come back, neither would I recommend this restaurant.

    Another beautiful meal and a real treat for the family . Not cheap but a very enjoyable evening . Surroundings and atmosphere great , staff very friendly and attentive, no complaints
