Set in an unassuming blue house with a storied history, The Classic serves globally-inspired menu items, prepared with farm-quality ingredients by a creative and collaborative kitchen team. The menu of fresh seafood, premium steaks and pastas includes items that follow the seasons, as fruits and vegetables ripen in The Classic’s on-site garden. The Classic offers a full bar, craft cocktails, and a wine list carefully selected to complement the menu. Live classical guitar with a rock twist can be heard in the bar on Friday and Saturday nights.

Service at The Classic is warm, professional and knowledgeable – a place where guests are recognized and treated like family. Quaint and relaxing ambience is highlighted with pops of colorful modern art by acclaimed artist Carolyn Riegelman.

In addition to in-house dining, The Classic offers curbside pick-up and local delivery of regular menu items as well as to-go-only blue plate specials, take-and-bake options, wine, and cocktails.

    Server Anne, along with Francis, Curtis, and the whole team at the Classic Café, provided another memorable holiday dinner for our party of four. Everything was outstanding, from the appetizers to the entrées to the desserts. The preparation was well explained in detail and presented beautifully, and the wines matched appropriately. As always, the Classic Cafe in Roanoke is the benchmark by which I judge all restaurants in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area, and tonight‘s dinner was no exception.

    A great evening. First off, it was a “slow” night. Noise levels were low - a bonus!!! My wife had CFS. Probably the best CFS I have ever had. Thee real question: : who would ever think to order CFS at a very nice restaurant? Take a chance - it is that good. I had the duck breast. Tough to get duck right - they did it. Food is the attraction at this restaurant. It was good to see Francis - the soul of the restaurant. I have been eating at this restaurant since 1993, and all that time – only one bad meal. That speaks volumes. Sadly, okra and shrimp fritters are about to go off the menu. The house salads were alsocrisp, expertly executed. Lastly. The waitstaff was functional - they are usually more engaging. But, they cannot take away from the good food that was prepared.

    We had an incredible night. There were six of us, a family of adults with three birthdays. The entire evening was special from the greeting to the perfect table for our group (round and in the smallest room) with incredible food and team serving. Thank you!

    Wonderful Al always. We are locals and are thrilled we can get a meal as good as most any place in Dallas or Ft Worth right in our backyard. Many people think if you don’t have a big sign and all kinds of advertisement that you must not be good but they couldn’t be more wrong. The Classic Cafe in Roanoke is one of our best go to places for a week night meal or special occasion dinner.
