   Overall very good. Had sunday roast - Beef. Great but could have done with more slices of beef.

   Food wasn't really worth the price, very nice waitress but meals were served missing sides

   Amazing evening at The Chequers. Steak cooked perfectly. Christmas cocktails amazing. Service impeccable. Thank you Kim. Highly recommend anyone taking someone special for a night out.

   Best steak ever. Can’t fault anything here .Only one bad point was we had someone with walking problems and we had a blue badge so we parked in the disabled parking. This is on a slope and no drop kerb to access it so you have to bump up the kerb into a slope. Not the best. Otherwise perfect.

   Beautiful place but extremely expensive! The food was lovely but massively overpriced which is a shame as would probably stop us going back. We had booked for the festive menu but got told when we arrived we should have pre ordered and I should have received an email which I didn’t

    We enjoyed a very nice meal for two on a Monday lunchtime. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and friendly. The ambiance inside was lovely and the food was great. This was our first visit and we would not hesitate recommending the Chequers to friends and family. Thanks to the team for making a memorable birthday!
