Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Tony was our server and he was a 10/10. He was knowledgeable about the drinks, wine, and the food. He answered every question we had and was super attentive. He checked in on us multiple times so we had everything we needed throughout our entire experience. We frequently visit the Providence location but will be back to Dedham to see Tony because his service was top notch!

    Very knowledgeable staff. Preparation was quick, but not rushed. Steaks cooked to perfection, especially with the kona coffee crust. Cocktail and wine pairings was well thought out.

    Beautiful experience for my friends birthday. The place was packed, but it was not noisy. We had an excellent time. The filet and service were superb.

    I came back to this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday because I had such a wonderful experience here before. I even made a reservation a month in advance, expecting a special evening. Unfortunately, everything about this visit was a disappointment. We were given a terrible table, there was no sense of hospitality, and the server was outright rude. The most shocking moment was when the server placed a hot soup bowl on top of the plate I was still eating from. I’ve never seen such disregard for basic dining etiquette—stacking dishes like that simply isn’t acceptable anywhere unless you’re clearing the table. The steak was unbelievably tough—so much so that I had to spit it out. For a steakhouse, that’s just unacceptable. On top of that, we had to ask for water repeatedly instead of being served proactively. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had, and such a stark contrast to my previous visit. I won’t be returning.

    Outstanding in every way a consistent to the Capital Grille culture that we have experienced at their other locations that we have visited. Food spectacular and perfectly prepared. Service exemplary. Staff friendly, accommodating and superb. Pictured: Cherrywood Smoked Bacon and Roasted Beet/Goat Cheese Salad appetizers. Entrees: Filet, Rib Eye, Brussel Sprouts, Sautéed Mushrooms and Au Gratin Potatoes. Personal comment: we are sad to see so many patrons in jeans and sneakers when dining in a restaurant of this caliber, despite their website stating “proper dress” is required. As a retired couple, perhaps we are of a different generation and have a different definition of “proper dress”.
