Never disappointed with the food at The Boar’s Head. We are a big fan of their Sunday roasts in particular. Staff are always welcoming and look after us well. Would highly recommend. They offer takeouts too. booking is online only (which is fine - I’ve used many times and to book a table) however payment option is now via PayPal only, which I don’t use anymore.

Although the food was delicious I was a Bit disappointed with the lack notice on their web site or social media saying that the day we were booked was the last day before a renovation at the pub this meant that on arrival we were told that much of the drink choices were very limited due to the renovation. Knowing this I possibly would've book lunch elsewhere.

Having eaten there 3 times this year already and many times before. Can’t recommend it enough. From moment you walk in you feel like a friend, team are lovely. Food is amazing. Down side for us we live 120 miles away, so can’t eat in there as often as we’d like. Look forward to visiting next year again.

We recently visited bluestone in wales for a holiday and noticed this little gem of a pub when driving back from Tenby. We looked at the online menu and there was lots of choice. We booked up and headed down one evening and the whole experience was amazing. Not only did they have the already great menu but also lots of specials to choose from. We had 2 vegetarians with us and they had an extensive choice of dishes to choose from. The food we ordered was amazing - the bruschetta with caramalised onion was a game changer and I really enjoyed this dish. Portion sizes were huge and all food and drink reasonably priced. The ladies that served us were really accommodating and made sure we were ok and enjoying ourselves throughout the visit. I just wish I could pick this pub up and put it nearer to home as there were so many food options I would love to visit again, and next time we are in this neck of the woods we will. It is a 10 minute drive from Bluestone so if you are there I would really recommend a visit here. It was quite busy so would be advisable to book. Thanks for a lovely dining experience.
