Thoroughly recommend this venue. I cannot fault anything other than the weather, which is beyond anyones control!! The food, service and ambience were all perfect. The garden is beautiful also, so hopefully we shall visit again on a sunny day. I’d say that this is one of the top pubs in MK. If you haven’t been, definitely venture out.

As ever, the Black Horse came up trumps. A wonderful experience for the friend I took this time. And thankfully the weather was lovely so that we could sit outside, have a drink and wave at the long-boats going by. The only disappointment in an otherwise perfect meal was the minuscule piece of crackling I was served - barely visible. I ordered the pork roast because I love crackling and this needs to change. I would recommend the Black Horse without hesitation.

We had a most excellent meal and were very inmpressed with the menu range. Excellent choices of new and interesting dishes as well as conventional ones. Definitely gastronomic. And excellent friendly staff and attractive tables indoors and outdoors
